Scott Coleman
Scott Coleman was a founding member of the The Billy Ray band back in 1995 with Billy, Ed Nitsche and Paul Sylvain. Earlier, he played with Billy Ray in OUTLAWED along with John Ringis, Mike Cross, Rick Padero and Steve Lynch. He is the sole author of "Monday Madness", which he wrote it prior to joining, and sings lead vocal on it . The song is included in the CD "We're Here", the 1st CD of . Scott co-authored "Good Friends" and added a line or two on "Hot Hot" and "Mighty Fine".
Scott also played with CRUISE CONTROL, MIGHTY JOE YOUNG, VAPOR, SCOTT FREE, to name but a few of his accomplishments.
Scott, the man with the big heart, died in Maui on July 4, 2005 of a heart attack and returned to the kingdom of heaven. We are certain that he is jamming with John Lennon, George Harrison, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and probably showing them all a thing or two.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his 3 children - Rhiannon, Ryan, and Sean, his brothers Jim and Randy, his 1st wife Kathy, his second wife Diana and Stacy his girlfriend at the time of his death and his granddaughter Serenity. Scott touched so many lives and he will be missed by all of us who loved him.
We will be updating this page soon to give you the amazing musical history of this truly remarkable man.
